M. Reas Bowman focuses his practice on commercial litigation and commercial foreclosures. Since joining Kluever & Platt, LLC, Reas has represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including contested mortgage foreclosures, mechanics lien foreclosures, disputes involving construction contracts, notes, guaranties, employment agreements, and commercial leases. Reas also litigates appeals throughout Illinois.
Prior to joining the firm, Reas practiced complex class action litigation in a variety of appellate, federal and state court jurisdictions. These actions involved securities fraud, consumer fraud, RICO, breach of contract, breach of warranty, common fund doctrine claims, and product liability claims.
In addition to being admitted in 2005 to practice in the State of Illinois, Reas has been admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
